Accelerated Stress Screening) testing was developed in the 1980's using
Screening Systems, Inc's unique vibration table and LN2 thermal chambers.
HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Testing)
is used in the design stage to uncover design flaws and weakness by
applying tri-axial (omni-axial) vibration and rapid temperature
changes
HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screening)
is used in the production stage to uncover defects and flaws in the
manufacturing process
